I gave them books and messengers, gave them enough knowledge and brain to choose what is good and what is bad. I gave them lot of theory, messages and text. Yes, that’s right; I told them what is right and what is wrong.
He chuckles, but I did wire them at very fundamental level, on the physical level with powerful and potent desires like hunger, greed, lust and love.
To check their faith, I did give them extreme sadness, poor or rich, every breath has a cost of many tears, I packed their heart with ocean of sorrow, I will take away from them everything, he smiles and says, I do it very slowly, they don’t even realize they lose everything they love about themselves, their innocence, their youth, their parents, their kids, their health, their wealth everything slips slowly away and they die old and ugly …
Then he murmurs to himself, and yes, I spawn these humans hundreds per minute, thousands per hours for millions and trillions of years. He shakes his head in affirmative and says, most of them don’t have any hope, no education, no food, no love, nothing …it is actually called ‘living hell’.
Suddenly, he becomes very stern, and says – Too much sin in my world, I must remodel the hell and increase its size; I must increase the fire too … I must make some more boilers and furnace …more lynches are needed …
Tell me who is the sadist here? What he wants to know by making gazillions of human for millions of years and why? Why he will do it?
Nicely put
Islam teaches that each person is born with a pure soul, without any burden to bear from a past life, and that both those people who seem to be facing hardship in this world and those who appear to be enjoying comforts are in a state of ‘trial’ to see how they behave under those circumstances. These are not punishments or rewards. In God’s eyes the best person is he or she who acquits himself best in the conditions they meet.
The question of why hell exists has perplexed many people through the ages. Countless have asked, “If God is so good, why would He create a place like hell?” This is similar to asking, “If our government is so good, why would it create prisons?” The answer seems simple enough – places like hell and prisons exist because some people will choose to do the wrong thing, and because of that, they need to be punished.
I think you missed the point. I am askign the question – why the trial?
It is a fundamental Islamic belief that we were created to serve (worship) Allah. Allah has entrusted us with the great responsibility of being His deputies and representatives on this earth. As He entrusted us with our lives, our physical beings, our wealth, and our families, He also entrusted us with our communities, our environment, and our earth. It is our responsibility to care for and maintain that trust. Carrying on this responsibility is part of serving and worshipping Allah. It is the sincerity of the Muslim’s worship that gives it its effectiveness and usefulness. Islam teaches us to worship Allah as if we were able to see Him, since although we do not see Him, He sees us.
Muslims believe the life on this earth is only a transition period that precedes the latter life. Winning the latter life is the goal of every Muslim. This is achieved through gaining Allah’s satisfaction through believing in Him and following His commands and prescriptions. The reward for those who gain Allah’s satisfaction and forgiveness is Heaven, and that for those who strayed is Hell. Muslims are advised by Prophet Muhammad to work for this life as if we are living forever, and work for the latter life as if we are dying tomorrow.
Hardships and suffering should never come as a complete
surprise to any human being. In fact, Allah promises us some hardship as
a certainty, somewhere during our lifetime. This TRIAL is a
test of our imaan, our faith in Allah, and we should
not despair, because there are lessons to be learnt
from every situation, especially from misfortune.
Hope this answers your question.
Again, why Allah wants to be worshipped?
Allah does not benefit from the worship of he who worships Him, nor is Allah injured by the deviation of he who turns away from the way of Allah and His obedience, and follows his own wants. And this is the first point – that there is no impact upon Allah if we do or do not worship Him.
The Holy Qur’an alerted us when it mentioned Prophet Suleiman, who said:
“This is by the Grace of my Lord, to test if I am grateful or ungrateful! And whosoever is grateful, it is only for the good of his own self, and whosoever is ungrateful, indeed Allah is All-Sufficient, and BountiThe life which you lead, whether it is short or long, is not the goal, nor with this life is your end. It is nothing but a stage of a journey to another world, to the life that is without end. We were created for eternity, and we are only traveling from one world to another, from the transitory world to the world of permanence.
‘And life is nothing but a journey, which leads us From the abode of the temporal to the abode of the unending.’
Allah says ‘’Indeed, the home of the Hereafter, that is the True Life, if only they knew.’ (Surah Al-‘Ankabut)
Nothing will aid us in the next life except our worship and obedience to Allah in this life. We are working to earn for tomorrow, sowing our seed that we may reap it tomorrow, and all that we do now you will be recompensed for it tomorrow. 4. Logical right of a Creator to merit worship by His Creation
The Prophet says-
O mankind, you were once non-existent, and then you were created. Out of the darkness of oblivion you entered the light of being. You were created as a human being, honoured and in the best of forms, shaped in the best of images. He taught you speech, gave you intellect, the power to choose and subdued the remainder of creation for you so that you could work and live in it. And the earth was made for you a bedspread out. And the sky a firm ceiling. And the sun a lamp, spreading out light and heat. And the moon a light. And the seas, for ships to run with your provisions, and the pure water which falls from the sky for you to drink, water your plants and livestock……
Do you see who has done all of this for you? As for us, we have not created ourselves or even created an atom of what is around us. So who is the possessor of omnipotent knowledge, and extensive wisdom, and supreme power, and unshakable will? Who was it who meticulously designed the universe and arranged it with wisdom and excellence? The one who created the human and beautified his creation, and subdued for him all that is in the heavens and the earth, and showered blessings upon him, outwardly and inwardly.
Doesn’t He deserve to be worshipped or praised?
Let me ask u,don’t you like to be praised for your your good deeds? How can we be so ungrateful to God!
Now you’ll ask me -then why did he create us?
God is a creator,a creative being. He created Heavens, sky, earth, seas, plants, animals, jinns and above all-WE-Human beings to see how his creations do on His test.
Allah created us for making prosperity on this earth so we should respect, love and help each other, avoid destruction and blood shed.
We are created to worship Him because not praying to Allah is lacking respect to life, and being lazy.
Sorry, I think you are not getting it. To test if i am grateful or not. WHY TEST? What he want to know? Why test human? What is the point?
I think you should start right from scratch i.e. creation of man-why Adam was sent to earth?-why iblis disobeyed Allah & turned evil, then only you will be able to understand the purpose of Allah’s test of mankind.
I think google will be very handy tool for your search,it helped me a lot.Because of your questions I came to know many things which I was unaware of earlier.Thank you,it has made my Eeman stronger.
You can also go to http://www.livingislam.org to get answers for your queries.
I think you dont need to search anywhere, answer comes out of logic… dont jump to answer, just sit and think why he created humans in pathatic conditions and then created hell for them, what he wants … just be of your own, think for yourself, throw away what you have heard from others … last dont you see your god has all the human vices too :) anger, ego and jealousy ….isn’t it enough for you to see that he is created by humans …
The very first thing I want to ask you is, do you believe in GOD? If you believe in GOD you should not be asking all these question?
